Mrs. Amy Hagner, Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations in York School District One has been awarded the Outstanding School Business Official for 2023. Mrs. Hagner has served as the Assistant Superintendent for Finance for over 16 years. Her resume’ also includes serving in the Finance Department for York County and in higher education at York Technical College.

Amy is regarded as the consummate professional, who goes about her work with diligence, attention to detail and thoroughness. After serving 6 years on SCASBO’s Executive Board, she became president of SCASBO in 2014-15 where she led the organization with distinction.

In her nomination letter of recommendation, her superintendent writes, “Mrs. Hagner is a strong leader who is committed to ensuring the District is financially healthy and able to meet the needs of students while demonstrating fiscal responsibility to taxpayers. Mrs. Hagner’s impact and service to the profession are highly regarded by colleagues across the state.”
